54Cataclysm is the label given to the new expansion set of World of Warcraft for the Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game or simply known as MMORPG. The newest expansion will highlight the return of Deathwing the Destroyer who’d been dormant after his last appearance on the second warcraft. Geographical catastrophe will befall on Azeroth as he initiates his dreadful comeback. War will be stirred between the alliance and the horde.
Because of the skyrocketing number of players in the world, this newest expansion is already the third one. It aims to further improve the game to make it more exciting and realistic. Accompanying this improvement are some changes that the programming production team have made. Let us examine the add-ons to the game.
In the newest expansion, Goblins and Worgens will be added as two additional races that you can choose from. They will be packed with their unique fighting abilities that player will truly enjoy. Worgen will be introduced as the newest alliance race. New battlegrounds will be added to the game offering a healthy competition in a group against the opposing faction. Unique rewards and achievements await you in the ground. There are hundreds more to complete that will allow you to work more and earn much. There will be new worlds added to the game that allow you to go in different quests while improving your level as you come to reveal new quests. The old map will also be significantly modified. As to the maximum level, this will be increased to 85 which are five levels higher compared to the previous. You will progress through storylines that will add more strength, different abilities and battle apparels to your character.
Various racial changes can be noticed in the newest expansion in consideration of the character’s abilities, skills, health, and others. For the Orc, the duration of stun effects casted on him will be reduced by 15% because of his improved hardness. For the Troll, the racial passive voodoo shuffle can reduce the duration of all movements impairing effects by 15%. No activation cost in energy or rage when Troll characters go berserk. For Draenei, the gift of the naaru, the amount healed is increased based on the amount of caster’s spell power or attack power. This ability does not deduct casting time from taking damage. Shadow resistance can reduce the chance to be hit by the shadow spells for 2%. The frost resistance of the Dwarf can reduce the hitting chances from frost spells by 2%. For Racial passive mace specialization, the expertise with the use of maces or can two handed maces will be increased by 5. For the Undead in using the shadow resistance, can reduce the chances to be hit by shadow spells for 1% which is lower than the resistance of other races. The will of forsaken will be modified from its lasting immunity to mending of fear, counteracting sleep and removal of charm effects. For the Night Elf, its quickness can reduce the chance to be hit by melee or short ranged attacks and ranged attacks by 2%. The use of nature resistance can reduce the chance to be hit by nature spells for 3%. The Tauren, its endurance now scales basing from the base health which can be tuned to approximately 5% increase in the health status especially if the player wears a green colored quality gear. The use of nature resistance can reduce the chances to be hit by nature spells for 2%. For the Gnome, the escape artist or the freeing effect can no longer be resisted. The arcane resistance can reduce the chance to be hit by casted arcane spells for 2%. The Blood Elf, the use of mana tap ability was removed which was partially integrated into arcane torrent. The use of arcane torent can restore 15 energy, 15 runic power, or 6% of mana to the Blood Elf. The use of magic resistance can reduce the chances to be hit by casted spells for 2%. For Human, the perception was changed to passive, now grants one character level of passive stealth detection. For racial, the fall of humanity, feign death can trick enemies to ignore you. Any threat is restored versus enemies in combat once this effect is cancelled. There will be 5 minutes allotted cooling down time. For Racial passive, human supremacy, the dominance of humanity is evidenced by having one more racial bonus than normal. The human spirit or spirit bonus is lowered to 5%.
